SUND is a series of photographs that have been cropped and re-arranged.
“Swimming pools have a lot of aesthetic value to me, it's fascinating to me
how the water and the blue colour blend together. The water creates all sorts
of movements and patterns, which is an ever-changing work of art for itself,
like a constant performance, the moments you can only capture with a camera.
The body in the water is also so beautiful, how we can just float freely, be a part
of the pool. Watching water has a calming effect, hypnotic and time just goes by.
This series is an ode to the Icelandic swimming pool which I miss so much.”
